Sandrew Metronome pick Nordisk as sales agent

Tine Klint, head of international sales for Nordisk Film, and Lena Rehnberg, head of production for Sandrew Metronome (SM), have agreed that all upcoming Swedish films produced by SM will be handled by Nordisk.

Said Klint: “I am thrilled to have Sandrew Metronome on board. [They] have an exciting line-up and represents strong production companies with films that have great distribution potential through our labels”.

The deal also includes three films co-financed by Sandrew Metronome Distribution Sweden. Currently filming is Leif Lindblom’s thriller Sunstorm, starring ex-Bond girl Izabella Scorupco and Mikael Persbrandt. The film is supported by Filmpool Nord, Film i Väst, Swedish broadcaster TV4, Germany’s ZDF and the Hamburg Film Fund.

Ciao Bella, set for a Swedish release on August 10, marks the directorial debut of Mani Maserrat Agah from a script by Jens Jonsson. The romantic film is produced by Götafilm. Morgan Pålsson: Foreign Correspondent is the feature debut of Swedish photographer Fredrik Boklund, produced by Anagram.
