Suspiria remake for First Sun

The newly formed production company First Sun has acquired the rights to remake – in English and with an international cast – Dario Argento’s Suspiria, the cult horror film to which the Cannes Film Festival is currently paying homage on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its release.
First Sun – founded by director Luca Guadagnino (Melissa P.), fashion stylist Silvia Venturini Fendi and producers Carlo Antonelli, Marco Morabito and Massimilano Violante – has announced that it intends to create "a concept that includes cinema, video games, fashion and music that will revive the original for those who never experienced it directly. Throughout the world, from fashion to music to video games, Gothic has made a strong comeback and we think that a new version of Suspiria is perfect for today".
