RomaFictionFest: 25 world premieres on the big screen
Everything is set to go for RomaFictionFest, the first Italian festival dedicated to national and international fiction TV. From July 2-7, the large screens of the Adriano multiplex will host (entrance is free) 140 titles selected by the staff of the festival’s artistic director, Felice Laudadio.
There will be 25 world premieres, including Rino Gaetano – Ma il cielo è sempre più blu (working title), directed by and Marco Turco and starring Claudio Santamaria; O’ Professore by Maurizio Zaccaro, with Sergio Castellitto; Robert Dornhelm’s War and Peace; The Poet Child by Amir Ghasem Razi; L’ultimo padrino by Marco Risi, featuring Michele Placido; and Giorgio Capitani’s Il generale Dalla Chiesa with Giancarlo Giannini.
There will also be Q&As open to the public and coordinated by Steve Della Casa, with Andrea Camilleri (July 2), Claire Forlani (July 3), Margarethe Von Trotta (July 4), Placido (July 5) and Ettore Bernabei (July 6).
