Stating that Dailymotion supplied Internet users who put the film online with "the means to make a pirate copy", the court ordered the videosharing site to pay one euro in damages to the director, €13,000 to Nord-Ouest Production and €10,000 to distributor UGC.

The court has also demanded that Dailymotion no longer broadcast the film. Failure to do so will result in the “imposition of a €1,500 fine for each breach of the offence". The site, which aims to appeal, has nevertheless stated that from today it will put in place a system "aiming to prevent the putting online of videos protected by rights".
