El menor de los males by established director Antonio Hernández (The Borgia [+see also:

film profile]) has been invited to screen at the sidebar section Focus on World Cinema of the forthcoming Montreal World Film Festival (August 23-September 3).
Awarded with three prizes at the latest Malaga Spanish Film Festival – Best Script for Hernández and his son Antonio Galeano, Best Supporting Actress for Bigas Lunas' latest muse, Verónica Echegui, and Best Costume Design for Ruth D. Pereira – the film was shot last summer in the Galician region of Pontemaceira, near Santiago de Compostela (see news) and marks the very first solo experience of A Coruña -based Voz Audiovisual in the film sector.
In the meantime, Hernández is already preparing his upcoming feature Gabor, based on the life of WWII double agent Juan Pujol. Ensueño Films and Voz Audiovisual will produce (see news).
