Ayaso and Sabroso film S

Filming kicked off in Madrid on S, the new film by Canarian directors Dunia Ayaso and Félix Sabroso, four years after the success of the El Deseo-produced Chill Out!.

This time produced by The Little Giraffe and Ensueño Films, the two directors decided to film a story about three actresses who participated in the so-called “cine del destape" movement of the 1970s, during the transition period from dictatorship to democracy. Characterised by a much more open portrayal of sex in the arts and extremely controversial at the time, "cine del destape" fell apart in the early 80s when the exhibition of X-rated films became legal.

Actress Candela Peña heads the bill, and is flanked by Goya Toledo, Mar Flores, Antonio de la Torre and Luís Zahera. The film marks the return of Peña, absent from screens since Fernando León de Aranoa's Princesses [+see also:

, for which she won the Best Actress Goya in 2005.
