MEDIA 2007 launches call for proposals for festivals

EU programme MEDIA 2007 has launched a new call for proposals (EACEA/18/07) addressed to audiovisual events taking place between May 1, 2008 and April 30, 2009.
Applicant organisations must implement audiovisual festivals which contribute to the promotion and circulation of European audiovisual and cinema works and which screen a minimum of 70% European films from at least 10 States participating in the MEDIA programme, in their total line-up.
The maximum amount available under this call is €2,500,000 (providing the EU budget for 2008 is approved).
