- A pleasant summer showcase in Oslo: the programme now includes four days of cinema

This summer, film and music lovers in Oslo will have a lot to look forward to. The organisers of the music festival Oyefestivalen are putting on a special film festival (OyaKino) to increase the number of interesting events on show. This new film festival will take place in the Eldorado movie theatre from August 7-11. The idea is to show the latest movies, as well as older ones. At the opening, the OyeFestivalen will premiere 24 Hours Party People by Michael Winterbottom, which was much acclaimed at Cannes this year. Without doubt, this new film is going to put the Festival-going public in the right mood, because it´s about the club and music scene of Manchester from 1976 to 1997, during a period when groups like Joy Division, New Order and Happy Mondays started out.
