Distributed by Medusa Film, Italian title Matrimonio alle Bahamas (“Wedding in the Bahamas”) leads last weekend’s box office with over €3m grossed.

Released on 431 screens, Claudio Risi’s film starring Massimo Boldi also snagged the highest per screen average (nearly €7,000) over a weekend that recorded an 11% rise in box office over the previous one, for a total of €10.8m.

film profile] by debut director Volfango De Biasi (also distributed by Medusa, see article) with €2.3m, for an overall €4.5m in 10 days; and, with €1.4m, Robert Zemeckis’ Beowulf (Warner Italia), a box office champion in the US.
