Second place went to Una moglie bellissima with €2.8m from 700 prints. Released by Medusa, of the 513 Cinetel-monitored screens, the film clocked up a per screen average of €5,620.

Audience numbers, however, are on the rise. The weekend brought box office totals of €11.2m – a 19% increase over the previous weekend.
