NonStop adds Ping Pong, Switch and Kautokeino to line-up

The Stockholm-based international sales company NonStop Sales has just inked international distribution rights for Swedish title The King of Ping Pong [+see also:

and Norwegian films The Kautokeino Rebellion [+see also:
trailer
film profile
]
and Switch, produced by Jørgen Storm Rosenberg.

“We are following the company’s tradition of representing high quality European cinema and with these additions to our Berlin Market line-up we will have an even stronger start for 2008,” said Sales Executive Judith Toth.

Jens Jonsson’s The King of Ping Pong came back from Sundance with two top awards (see news) and rave reviews, and is currently screening in competition in Rotterdam and in Göteborg. The Kautokeino Rebellion by Nils Gaup (Pathfinder) is number one at the Norwegian Top Ten with over 120,000 admissions. Youth film Switch by Ole Martin Hafsmo was last year’s third biggest local hit in Norway.

Other new titles in NonStop’s Berlin line-up include the Dutch thriller Blood Brothers by Arno Dierickx, the animated film Gnomes and Trolls and Illmar Raag’s award-winning Estonian title The Class [+see also:
