Co-production meetings for the Rome and Lazio Film Commission

At the upcoming Berlinale , the Rome and Lazio Film Commission will organize the tenth edition of the co-production meetings CRC Capital Regions for Cinema, a network of the film commissions of the European capitals of Ile de France, Lazio, Comunidad de Madrid and Berlin-Brandenburg, following the CRC meetings held in Rome during last year’s RomeFilmFest.

Participants of the upcoming meeting – to be held February 8 from 10 am to 2 pm in the building of the Brandenburg Region (Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg") near the Potsdamer Platz – include producers from Germany, Italy, France, Spain presenting projects or looking for projects to co-produce.

The European reach and spirit of the network were recently awarded and reinforced by backing from Viviane Reding, European Commissioner for Information Society and Media.

Operational since last October – to replace the previous, separate Rome and Lazio film commissions – the Fondazione Film Commission of Rome, the provinces and Lazio will be at the 58th Berlinale from February 7-17 with a stand at the European Film Market.

On February 9 at 4 pm, at the Palazzo Italia, a press conference will be held to present new projects and initiatives of the Rome and Lazio Film Commission and FILAS, dedicated to training emerging co-producers and offering regional support to film and audiovisual productions of national and international interest.
