- A committee of experts will chose projects to fund, to stimulate new co-productions between the two countries

A Committee set up by the Cinema National Center (CNC) and the German Federal Film Board (FFA) to select French-German co-productions, that should receive funding, chose two projects at a meeting in Berlin: a co-production wih a German majority part called Aus Liebe zum Volk of Eyal Sivan and Audrey Marion, and a project with a French majority part entitled Jalousies of Luc Bondy. Each year Germany and France reserve 1,5M€ to finance these co-productions.
This Committee is composed of three French and three German members, Veronique Cayla, Margaret Menegoz and Yves Marmion representing France on the one side, and Gisela Schröter, Georg Alexander and Thomas Geyer representing Germany on the other side.
Next session of the Committee is on the 7th October 2002 and interested parties should depose their proposals on the 10th of September at the latest either by the CNC or the FFA.
