The story of a thirteen-year-old girl bank robber from Denmark has charmed America. The production company Nimbus Film, have sold the rights of the film to the American company FOX 2000, who plan to spend around 150-200 million Danish kr (20 Million €) on the remake of the film. The film Klatretøsen (Catch That Girl), is one of the most popular movies amongst the young moviegoers in Denmark and has been seen by almost 250.000 persons since it was released in January. Not a bad result for the debut of the director Hans Fabian Wullenweber who has seen the film rewarded with international as well as national prices at festivals such as the Kinderfilmfest at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film will be shown in about 20 countries in the near future.
