Bouyssy named Exhibitor of the Year at Cinema Expo
The 17th edition of Cinema Expo International – the traditional gathering for exhibitors from across the world – is being held from June 23-26 in Amsterdam. On Thursday, the event will present its award for Exhibitor of the Year to France’s Jocelyn Bouyssy (see interview), director of CGR.
At the end of 2007, CGR announced plans to convert all of its 400 screens to digital projection, thus becoming the first European network to make the complete transition. Thanks to a VPF (Virtual Print Free) agreement with the UK’s Arts Alliance Media (the British division of a Norwegian investment fund), the company already has around 100 digitally equipped screens.
