Fanny Bräuning’s No More Smoke Signals will open the 19th Critics’ Week, in which viewers will be able to discover another German-language documentary: Erich Schmid’s Bill - Un regard absolu (“Bill: An Absolute Gaze”).

Moreover, four narrative features and six documentaries that have made their mark on Swiss film this year will be shown in the Appellations Suisse (“Made in Switzerland”) section. These include Bird’s Nest - Herzog & de Meuron in China by Christoph Schaub and Michael Schindhelm; Micha Lewinsky’s The Friend [+see also:
