The EU programme supports European training initiatives in various fields, such as the development of screenplays and projects, production, company management and marketing strategies, legal issues, new technology and new exhibition equipment.

On Saturday, October 25 in the Verdi Room at the Hotel Majestic, the following programmes will be presented: training for producers on project development and company management (EUROPEAN AUDIOVISUAL ENTREPRENEURS (EAVE), FABULAFILM/MAIA, PRIMEPACKAGING, SCREEN LEADERS); training on new trends in the animated film industry (CARTOON); training on digital technology applied to distribution and exhibition (MEDIA SALLES / DIGITRAINING PLUS).

This series of brief presentations will be followed by the opportunity for professionals to meet individually with representatives of each activity in order to identify the best training course for their future projects.

The MEDIA Programme will be represented by members of the Brussels EACEA Executive Agency, who will be available for individual meetings throughout the course of The Business Street International Film Market at the MEDIA stand in the Hotel Majestic. Arnaud Pasquali will answer queries about training, promotion and support for festivals, Soon-Mi Peten about film development support and Gabor Greiner about film distribution support.

The closing date for registration is October 21, 2008. For further information and to register, go to the website: info@mediadeskitalia.eu.
