German Films go north

German Films’ Scandinavia tour will begin this year in Copenhagen, where it will run from November 24-27. The event opens with Cloud 9 [+see also:

Jerichow will open the three-day festival in Stockholm on December 5, presented by its lead actor, Benno Fuermann. Dresen will also be in Stockholm with Cloud 9.

This year, Stockholm will also see a meeting organised by German Films with Swedish distributors for an exchange of views about their respective film markets.

The short films program Next Generation 2008 will be shown again this year at the film school in Denmark, while there will be screenings in regular cinemas in Sweden. In this way, German Films will be able to reach local students directly and give them an insight into the working methods of German film students.
