Four years after Tu la conosci Claudia?, and after the experiment Anplagghed (the film adaptation of their successful theatre show), comic trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo are back in cinemas – as always, for Christmas – with the episodic film Il cosmo sul comò [+see also:

In the film directed by Marcello Cesena (Mari del sud, known mostly as a TV actor), the three actor-screenwriters wrote and performed in four sketches “that are intentionally different in style, music and cinematography,” said Cesena. “For example, for the soundtrack to 'Falsi prigionieri' I wanted an American-style orchestral score, with cartoon overtones”. An atmosphere that goes well with the episode, which is a tribute to Harry Potter.

“We find that the formula of an episodic film agrees with our way of storytelling, but at least a couple of the stories could have been feature films,” added Giacomo Poretti, probably referring to “L’autobus del peccato” and, above all, the final episode, “Temperatura basale,” which features a cameo by Angela Finocchiaro and in which he stars as an aspiring father struggling with “lazy” sperm.
