, equally rewarded in other categories.

Sweden’s veteran filmmaker Jan Troell might have been the unlucky winner at the Golden Globes for Best Foreign language film, but he was the big winner at home, unsurprisingly sweeping the floor in almost all categories where the film was nominated. The three exceptions where the costume drama didn’t make it to the final round, was in the Best Cinematography, Best Script and Best Actress in a Supporting Role categories, where Let the Right One In dominated. The arthouse -oriented vampire film is Sweden’s biggest export of 2008, with over 50 territories sold by Bavaria International Film Sales.
