Palfi, Medem and Taddicken at European Producers Club Forum

A total of 29 projects from 15 countries will be presented at the 37th Co-production Forum organised on Saturday afternoon in Berlin by the European Producers Club (EPC), presided by Martin Mozskowicz and piloted by Alexandra Lebret.

For the first time this year, there will be a co-production consultant, Sophokles Tasioulis (Deep Blue, Planet Earth). At the Cannes Forum, he will be replaced by an international seller, at the London/Rome Forum by a financing specialist and at the European Film Awards Forum by an expert in regional funds.

), who has two projects selected: The Wild Swans (Studio Baestarts) and The Blond Hurricane.

Produced by Gabor Varadi for Eurofilm Studio, The Blond Hurricane is adapted from the eponymous novel by Jenő Rejtő (published under the pseudonym P. Howard). The story follows a woman in search of the tsars’ diamond crown, hidden in a Buddha statue. The quest takes her from London to Morocco, through Paris and Marseilles, as she faces dangerous competition.
