Manus scoops 5 Canons, Kristiansen Best Director

At Monday night’s annual Canon Awards ceremony, organized as part of the 5th Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival (March 5-10), Norwegian box office hit Max Manus [+see also:

was bestowed five Canon Awards by the local film industry.

The WWII drama won Best Screenplay (Thomas Nordseth-Tiller), Best Actress (Agnes Kittelsen), Best Producers (John M. Jacobsen and Sveinung Golimo), Best Cinematography (Geir Hartly Andreassen) and Best Sound Editing (Baard Haugan Ingebregtsen and Tormod Ringhnes). The film has now sold over 1.1m admissions in Norway.
