Support for film production

- The Institute finances short film production and co-production of features with other Portuguese-language countries

ICAM, the Portuguese Film, Audiovisual & Multimedia Institute, announced it was launching two new tenders for support to national film production. The deadline for entries is 25 October 2002.
The first of the two tenders is for short film production and consists of a Euros990,000 grant to be divided between several projects. No single project can receive more than Euros45,000 or more than an upper limit of 90 per cent of the total production costs. Producers and directors are eligible.
The second tender is for film co-production with Portuguese-language countries and consists in a grant of Euros449,000 for one or more feature films. The grant cannot exceed 80 per cent of the total budget and only producers can are eligible.
