The Namur Meeting

- French and Belgian film operators meet to improve and optimise support for French-language films

France’s National Film Centre - CNC and the French Community in Belgium’s Audiovisual and Film Centre organised an important meeting for the French-speaking film world’s decision makers, during the 17th International Festival of Namur.
The reason for the meeting, scheduled for 2 October at 18.00 will be the improvement and optimisation of help and support available to French-language audiovisual productions in non French-language countries.
Amongst those participating are Henry Ingberg, the secretary-general of the French community in Belgium, Xavier Merlin, head of the CNC’s European and International offices, Daniel Toscan du Plantier, the president of Unifrance and Joëlle Levie, the head of the film and audiovisual production office at SODEC, a Canadian institution that helps and promotes French-language productions.
