Cold Lunch hottest film at Rouen

won the Grand Prix du Jury at last Saturday’s awards ceremony of the 22nd Nordic Film Festival in Rouen. Since its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival last September, the drama has screened at numerous festivals worldwide.

Another Norwegian film was the audience favourite in Rouen: Nils Gaup’s The Kautokeino Rebellion [+see also:

, which sold over 350,000 admissions at home last year.

Sweden picked up the other four main awards in Rouen: Simon Staho’s chamber piece Heaven's Heart [+see also:

won the Second Souffle Award, along with Best Actress (Maria Lundqvist) and Best Actor (Mikael Persbrandt); and Jan Troell’s Oscar-nominated Everlasting Moments [+see also:

won the Young European Jury Award.
