Mona Fueter is Switzerland’s representative at the sixteenth edition of Shooting Stars in Berlin.
After travelling extensively in Russia and Cuba, Mona Fueter enrolled at the Berne Conservatory and shortly thereafter won her first acting award.
On graduating, she gained theatrical experience in a company in Tubinga, Germany and was cast in two hit films, directed by Markus Fischer, that aired on Swiss television. Fuerter won the best actress “Swiss Film Award” for her most recent film, a romantic comedy entitled Füür oder Flamme and she is now a member of the Karlsruhe Staastheater company.

"My last film was a romantic comedy for Swiss TV. The interesting thing or the very difficult thing for me in that role of a very nice, a very normal girl was: how can I make people follow me for 90 minutes and through this plot? What can I give to this character that can make her special in a way?
'Swiss saying/speech' - and this means: 'Take your head between your shoulders and run through it' - so if you have to do something you don't want to, or you feel you can't... do this and go through it".
