At last year's festival, Abbey Hoes won a Golden Calf for Best Actress in Saskia Diesing's drama Nena, which has been selected for Generation 2015 section in the Berlinale.
Abbey Hoes made her screen debut in 2009 as Maite in Boudewijn Koole's critically acclaimed Maite Was Here and was named one of the Most Promising Young Talents at the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht in 2012. At last year's festival, she won a Golden Calf for Best Actress in a Feature Film for her starring role in Saskia Diesing's drama Nena [+see also:
