When Irène Montier Duval – a beautiful bourgeois woman with a Hermès bag full of bank notes – misses a motorway exit, she crosses paths with Darry Marzouki, an out-of-work magician. In the name of love, she acted as an intermediary in the sale of arms between a French minister and Korea. News of the deal has leaked out. The minister wants her to take the blame. Fleeing the country, she offers to pay Darry to drive her to Geneva in his beautiful BMW. The trouble is that the BMW doesn’t belong to Darry. He stole it on the spur of the moment from his brother-in-law, a little tough guy who’s a bit irritable and has threatened to make mincemeat of him if he doesn’t return it. Unable to accept Irène’s offer, Darry pretends to be an anti-globalisation campaigner travelling to Barcelona for a summit. Irène, who yearns for a change of surroundings, gets involved in the game. They have little in common. They spend three days together. Three unforgettable days... Hot on their heels are some Koreans, the DST, a minister and the brother-in-law... At the end of the road, there is love for one and freedom for the other.
