iFeatures, Creative England’s low budget feature production initiative backed by the British Film Institute Film Fund, BBC Films and Creative Skillset, has announced an 18-strong shortlist for its next phase of production. Drawn from some 400 submissions, these projects will undergo an intensive development process and three of these will be greenlit in March 2015 with production budgets of £350,000 each. 

Christopher Granier-Deferre, iFeatures Executive Producer, said, “As always we were looking for a wide range of films that had a very distinctive regional story to tell, and the shortlisted teams did not disappoint. We can’t wait to get started working on these projects, with what can only be described as a stellar shortlist.”
