Based on real-life events and written by the director together with novelist Aurélien Molas (who penned the mini-series Crime Time, Red Creek and Maroni), the story introduces us to Paul and Chloé Diallo (Adama Niane and Stéphane Caillard), who, during the summer holidays, rent out their house to their son’s nanny and her partner, after they were recently thrown out of their accommodation. When they return from their holiday, the Diallo family have the door slammed in their face: the name on their letterbox is no longer theirs, the locks have been changed, and the occupants maintain that it is their house. For Paul, it marks the start of a struggle that will lead to the crumbling of his relationship, his values and even his very humanity. He will cross paths with Mickey (Paul Hamy), a bird of ill omen who will push him to resort to violence.
Produced by Léonard Glowinski and François Lardenois for 22h22 and by Jean-Christophe Barret for Alliance de Production Cinématographique (A.P.C.), Get In has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+. The film, which has also received backing from Pictanovo (Hauts-de-France region), SofiTVCiné and Les productions Chaocorp, and which will be shot over the course of six weeks, will be released in France by Rezo Films and sold abroad by WTFilms.
