The story, written by the director, revolves around the character of Perdrix, who has been having a wild and magical time ever since the elusive Juliette Webb burst into his life. She is a stranger who has crash-landed like a meteorite on his singular planet and that of his family, and who, by her mere presence, will force this whole microcosm to redefine its boundaries and finally start living life to the full…

Produced by Stéphanie Bermann and Alexis Dulguérian for Domino Films, The Bare Necessity has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+. The feature, which has also received backing from the Grand Est region and the Cinémage Sofica, was filmed entirely in the Vosges department from 24 September-31 October, with Alexis Kavyrchine (Memoir of War [+lee también:
