For its second session of 2019, the screen.brussels fund has accepted 12 projects, seven of which are being fully funded in Belgium. Among the projects are five features, three TV series, two documentary series, one webseries and one batch of short films.
One of the features being supported is the new film by Stephan Streker. Much like he did in A Wedding [+lee también:

What we do know is that the cast includes Belgian actor Jérémie Renier, Alma Jodorowsky, actress-director Emmanuelle Bercot and Félix Maritaud. The movie, which will supposedly be entitled Enfant Terrible, is being produced by Daylight Films in Belgium and by Formosa Production in France.
Three additional Belgian films are being backed by the fund, and all three are being produced entirely in Belgium.
In the wake of The Sex Life of the Belgians, Camping Cosmos and La Vie politique des Belges, director and anarchist Jan Bucquoy is helming a new instalment in the oeuvre he devised to pay homage to his home country: La Dernière tentation des Belges. Among the cast of the film, produced by Stenola, we find actor Wim Willaert, singer Alice on the roof, who will be making her big-screen debut, and comedian Alex Vizorek.
Spaceboy, a children’s film directed by Olivier Pairoux, follows the story of 11-year-old Jim, a gifted dreamer who decides to secretly build a hot-air balloon in order to prove to his father that you can achieve anything when you believe in your dreams. Actors Basile Grunberger (who rose to fame in Our Struggles [+lee también:

The fund is also throwing its weight behind Do You Do You St Tropez by France’s Nicolas Benamou (Babysitting [+lee también:

The movie is being produced by Curiosa Films and Ouille Productions in France, and by Umedia in Belgium.
