Written by Samuel Benchetrit and Gabor Rassov, the story is set in a port city where isolated individuals who are no strangers to violence, suddenly find their lives turned upside down by theatre, poetry and art, and their routines transformed by love…

Produced by Julien Madon (a Producer on the Move 2016, as chosen by the European Film Promotion) on behalf of Single Man Productions, Cette musique ne joue pour personne is co-produced by JM Films and Belgian outfit Gapbusters. Pre-purchased by OCS, the feature film is also benefitting from an advance on earnings from the CNC, from Pictanovo (the French Hauts-de-France region) and from the SOFICA company SofiTVcine. The six-week shoot unfurled in the Dunkirk and Paris regions, with Pierre Aïm (nominated at the 1996, 2004 and 2012 César Awards in his category, and recently on top form in The Nile Hilton Incident [+lee también:
