has also scooped the Best Film Award and seven more gongs at the 11th edition of the Iris Awards, organised by the Hellenic Film Academy. Produced by Dionyssis Samiotis, the film narrates the life story of one of the most important Greek lyricists, Eftyhia Papagianopoulou, whose songs rose to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s and still remain popular, and who wasn’t widely known or recognised until her death in the early 1970s. The winners were announced online by the academy’s president, Yorgos Tsemberopoulos, as well as actors Elli Tringou and Christos Loulis, as the awards ceremony itself had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
