Following an online edition in 2020, Cinémamed – Brussels’ Mediterranean Film Festival is returning from 2 to 11 December with a jam-packed programme of titles to discover, which will take us on a tour of the Mediterranean basin via an Official Competition buoyed by 8 titles, a Panorama section, and short film and documentary selections, not to mention a whole new competition by the name of RêVolution which looks to the future and is dedicated to young people and the major challenges they must contend with in order to break free.

A partner of Cineuropa, and the setting for the awarding of the Cineuropa Prize, the festival will thus open with a world premiere screening of La Traviata, My Brothers and I, and will close with the Israeli film Here We Are [+lee también:

This year will also see the festival unspooling online via Sooner, from 3 to 19 December, offering up a selection of films gracing this year’s agenda, as well as titles from previous editions. The full selection can be accessed here.
