Honouring young, independent production companies, the IFCIC Prize awarded by the French Institute for the Funding of the Film and Cultural Industries was exceptionally bestowed upon two firms (on account of its cancellation for the duration of the pandemic), with the 16th trophy going to Petit Films (Jean des Forêts) and the 17th to Tripode Productions (Delphine Schmit and Guillaume Dreyfus).
