Presentation & Philosophy:

Founded in Rome in 2000 by the film production company Hiram Srl, the Griffith Film & Television Academy is directed by Vincenzo Ramaglia and mentioned by the EURISPES (the famous Institute of Political, Economic and Social Studies) as a film school among the most accredited in the educational landscape of the sector. The multi-purpose venue, the advanced teaching materials and a strictly interdisciplinary teaching, allow students to get in touch with all stages of filmmaking.

Programme objective and content:

Griffith Film & Television Academy offers annual, semester and short courses.

The annual courses consist of 500 hours about theory and 500 hours about practice and they take place in 28 weeks, from January and December:

  • Screenplay
  • Video Editing
  • Cinema and Television Photography

The school offers also some shorter courses:

  • Film and Video Soundtrack (semester)
  • Thriller and Horror Direction and Screenplay
  • Script Supervisor
  • Scenography
  • Singing and Vocal Technique

Admission:
The admission process is split into two steps: sending a short curriculum with cover letter to the email address and paying a pre-registration fee. Theoretical and technical knowledge or previous experience in the field are not required.
