Cécile de France representa a Francia en la edición que este año organiza European Film Promotion durante el Festival de Berlín. Con un papel protagonista en la última película de Cédric Klapish, Una casa de locos, la joven actriz de origen belga cuenta en su currículum con numerosas e importantes participaciones: además de éxitos de televisión como Nana de Edouard Molinaro y teatrales como Electra de Claudia Stavisky, y el papel principal en la primera película de Richard Berry, L’art (delicat) de la séduction, protagoniza la película del debutante Ivan Calbérac, Irène, actualmente en elaboración.

"I'm very happy because I made a movie called L'auberge espagnole by Cédric Klapisch which will be shown in many, many countries.
And I hope that many people will see it, because it is a European movie. It is a story of a French student who goes to Barcelona to be part of the Erasmus-program and she will meet many European students. It is a film about the new generation. When I work with a director I try to adopt his universe, his mind, his imagination and so it is the same with the culture of the different European countries.
