An animator and illustrator, who gradually grew more towards live action, Michiel ten Horn was born in Amsterdam. He wrote and directed the short films Basta (2007), Alex in Amsterdam (2009) and Arie (2009). The Deflowering Of Eva Van End (2012) is his first feature film.
