AT YOUR DOORSTEP

by Eduard Cortés

synopsis

Spain, autumn 2007, the world is on the verge of the financial crisis. Sonia, a thirty-something, loses her job and can’t pay the next instalment of her mortgage (neither can her husband). A bank employee thinks with concern how he should have some of his life-long neighbours evicted from their homes. A policeman starts wondering whom his job – throwing real families out of their homes – really serves. Different personal situations in a story of fight, solidarity and hope.
