CARGO

by Ivan Engler, Ralph Etter

synopsis

Ever since the collapse of the Earth's ecosystem, the greater part of humanity is living in impossibly overcrowded space stations. Their only hope for escaping this chaos is Rhea, a paradise of a planet, six light-years away from the Earth. The story takes place on Kassandra, a dilapidated cargo spaceship on its way to the remote Station 42. Laura, a young doctor, is the only person awake on board. The rest of the crew is in a state of frozen, deep sleep. During her daily control rounds through the creepily empty spaceship, Laura is seized by the feeling that she is not alone on board.
