synopsis

1945. A family from Lviv moves to Cracow: a couple with two children - a 14-year-old Ludwik and five years younger Hania. Ludwik begins to learn in junior high, finds friends, gets acquainted with the surrounding. 1947. Marek, Ludwik’s friend from a higher class, a participant of the Warsaw Uprising, whose father is in the prison of The Security Department charged for cooperation with American intelligence, finds an underground organization to fight the communists.
