synopsis

In a fishing village in the Canary Islands, the hated don Lucio suddenly dies and his wife doesn’t have room in her house to keep vigil over the body so her neighbor Isabel takes responsibility for the body, and while the widow forgets her sorrows, all the neighbors visit the body laid to rest to settle old scores with the deceased. Rest in peace, Don Lucio... if you can.
