COUREUR

by Kenneth Mercken

synopsis

Young Felix’ idols are not the typical childhood heroes. He grows up as an inside spectator at cycling races of a small veterans’ league. A bizarre environment where violence and drugs seem to reign, especially by his father Mathieu. Felix tries to follow in his father’s footsteps and signs up for an Italian semi-pro team. Although he’s close to achieving his goal of becoming a professional rider, Felix discovers that his body is not made for the game…
