The Seer and the Unseen is a magic realist environmental documentary about invisible elves, financial markets and the power of belief told through the story of Ragga Jónsdóttir, an Icelandic woman who speaks on behalf of nature under threat. Through Ragga's story, the film explores the unseen forces - be they elves or capitalism - that shape our visible worlds and transform our natural landscapes.
