Sarajevo Film Festival has announced that the Tribute programme of its 19th edition, which will run from August 16 to 24, will be dedicated to Romanian film-maker Cristi Puiu.
During the five-day programme, the festival will screen Puiu’s debut feature Stuff and Dough, his breakout film The Death of Mr. Lazarescu [+lire aussi :

Puiu served as president of the jury for feature competition at the 16th Sarajevo Film Festival.
In previous years, Sarajevo presented Tribute programmes of such film-makers as Abel Ferrara, Béla Tarr, Ulrich Seidl, Todd Haynes, Jia Zhang-ke, Bruno Dumont, Lucrecia Martel and Todd Solondz.
