At the European Film Market, the Danish horror movie When Animals Dream (Når Dyret Drømmer) by first-time filmmaker Jonas Arnby gained the attention of buyers from all over the world. The character-driven genre film by the former commercial director stars Sonia Suhl, Lars Mikkelsen (The Killing) and Norwegian Shooting Star Jakob Oftebro (In Order of Disappearance [+lire aussi :

by Pernille Fischer Christensen. Co-written by Kim Fupz Aakeson (In Order of Disappearance), the Berlinale Special entry starring Trine Dyrholm was picked up by Wild Bunch for Benelux, Golem for Andorra and Spain, Madman for Australia and New Zealand, and Umut Sanat Filmcilik for Turkey and Cyprus.

Not from Denmark but, in this case, from France comes a story about a nymphomaniac. In Tonie Marshall’s Sex, Love & Therapy, French actress Sophie Marceau is punished for her behaviour and loses her job. When she finds some work at a therapist's, she tries to seduce him, too. But the harder she tries, the more she gets pushed away. Her new boss, a former sex addict, has another kind of relationship in mind. TF1 International sold the romantic comedy to Wild Bunch for Germany, Warner Bros for France, Alternative for Belgium, Pathé for Switzerland, Odeon for Greece, Lusomundo for Portugal, Daro Film Distribution for Russia and Remstar for Canada.
