The Sarajevo Film Festival's documentary film workshop, Docu Rough Cut Boutique, will celebrate its fifth birthday this year with a strong line-up.

fiche film], is bringing Brothers of Silence, directed by Erol's brother, Taylan Mintaş. It tells the story of two of the director's cousins, both deaf and mute, who have created their own language and become vibrant leaders in their village.

Romanian director and producer Tudor Giurgiu is coming with Cinema, Mon Amour [+lire aussi :

fiche film], the second feature-length documentary by Alexandru Belc. It is the story of Victor Purice, administrator of the Dacia Panoramic cinema in Piatra Neamt, and his two employees, Cornelia and Lorena, who are struggling to save “their” theatre. The film is a co-production between Romania's Libra Film Productions, the Czech Republic's Pink Productions and HBO Europe.

Dioni's Museum is coming from Macedonia and director-producer Atanas Georgiev (Cash and Marry), who is co-directing it with Ilija Cvetkovski. The film tells the story of Dionis Pashlakov, a teacher and passionate collector of vintage cars from a small Macedonian province. The production company is Trice Films.

First-time Georgian director and producer Toma Chagelishvili is bringing Little Berlin Wall to Sarajevo, which is about the village of Churvaleti – a place divided by barbed-wired fences put up by Russian patrols. Chagelishvili is producing through T-Studia, with Carsten Böhnke of Germany's Kloos & Co. Medien GmbH acting as a co-producer.

Siniša Vidović's Korida, about bullfights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will also take part in Sarajevo's Works in Progress. The documentary follows five bull trainers in their daily lives and shows a practically unknown subculture along with its everyday conflicts. Korida is a co-production by Austria's Golden Girls Filmproduktion (best known for Everyday Rebellion) and Filmservices GmbH.

The workshop will offer bespoke mentoring, expert and peer feedback, and access to decision makers who can have a crucial influence on moving the projects forward towards their successful completion. Mentors include editor Thomas Ernst, writer-director-editor Ivo Trajkov, sales agent Catherine Le Clef (CAT&Docs), Hanka Kastelicová, executive producer of documentaries for HBO Europe, producer-distributor Irena Taskovski and director-cinematographer Kirsten Johnson.

The participants have the chance to win the following awards: the IDFA Award (an invitation to IDFA 2015 with a sneak preview at Docs for Sale, a CineLink Work in Progress presentation, and a €20,000 post-production award from Digital Cube), the HBO Adria Award, the Cat and Docs Award, and the Croatian Radio Television Award (each worth €2,000).
