Serbian filmmaker Srdjan Keča's project Museum of the Revolution triumphed, winning the main prize, the EDP Award, worth €7,500, and the IDFA Forum Award, which provides the winning team with travel, accommodation, and access to the market and the training programme at the biggest European documentary festival. The project is a co-production between Serbia's UZROK and Croatia's Restart.
The Czech project Wolves on the Borders! by Martin Páv received an EDP Honourable Mention. The HBO Europe Development Award, worth €2,000, went to The New Imperium by Russian director Anna Shishova-Bogolubova, produced by Ethnofund.
Czech-Japanese filmmaker Haruna Honcoop's Olympic Halftime picked up the Golden Funnel Award, worth €1,000, as well as the newly established Sunny Side of the Doc Award, which provides the team with three accreditations and two nights’ accommodation at the La Rochelle-based event. The film is a co-production between the Czech Republic, Slovakia and France.
The Czech TV Co-production Award, worth €6,000, went to A Marriage, a Czech-US co-production co-directed by Kateřina Hager and Asad Faruqi.
The Russian-Estonian Untitled Rastorguev Project by Susanna Baranzhieva pocketed the Current Time TV Award, while the Docs Barcelona Award, providing the winner with an invitation to this particular festival market's speed meetings, was given to Fragile Memory by Ukraine's Ihor Ivanko.
