and penned by the helmer herself in tandem with Maja Todorovic. A Serbian-Montenegrin co-production, the film's plot centres on Vida (Natasa Ninkovic) and Bane (Sergej Trifunovic), a married couple who have been living in Scandinavia for a long time and cannot have children.

Speaking about this year's line-up, programmer Nenad Dukić said: “The Palić Film Festival attempts to be an accurate reflection of what European film production offers annually, in different fields and spanning all sorts of cinematic works – from big, feature-length productions to output from small film industries, and from documentaries to shorts. We always strive to strike a balance between well-known film auteurs and new, young directors who showcase their talent and artistic potential with their very first works.”

The festival has also announced the titles selected for the New Hungarian Film, Eco Dox, Parallels and Encounters, and Young Spirit of Europe sections, as well as the inclusion of a focus on contemporary Greek cinema, plus other sidebars and screenings.
